| How to check the working of the SunInLine service |
Installation |
There are three ways to check the working of the service.
- Go to the website www.suninline.com , login with your account and go to Reports. There you can see the last arrived message (it can take a minute, before it is visible)
- Install the Vista/Windows 7 gadget on your machine. The gadget shows the last received message at the top.
- check you eventlog for errors.

| Is it possible to run the Service and the Windows Notify applications simultaneously |
Installation |
Yes. But make sure that the Notify application is not collecting data. You can check this by Edit, Preferences, Collect data |
| My solar system is not working correct |
Errors |
Stop using the SunInLine software and run (and install) the Mastervolt software. With these software you can read the errormessages of your system. (See Mastervolt) |
| Why do I need to create a account and what is your policy with the data |
Installation |
The system is designed to collect the information and store it on a central server. This has two advantages: You can look at your system from a distance, e.g. at you work your data is added with other users. The average data is displayed on Google maps and can be found by Reports.
The points at Google maps are not pointing at single persons, but is displayed by area. Also your information, personal and measure data, will not to be sold to other parties and is used only to general information displayed on this site. Finally: At all time you can delete all of your information. Go to your account, and at the bottom you will find a Remove Account button. Warning: after removing your account all data will be gone. Be sure to download your excelfile by Reports before removing your account. I do not have an option to restore removed data. |
| The location on the map is not correct |

This is done by purpose. For privacy reasons, I find it not appropriate to give the exact locations. There are a large number of locations pointed on the world. Your measurements are added to the nearest location. If you think there should be a location added, please let me know. I will add it to the database. |
